Zhipeng Gao
Zhipeng's research interests include mining software repositories, deep learning and blockchain technology. His research aim is helping developers to work more effectively and efficiently, i.e., providing better questions, finding better answers and searching more appropriate code snippets. He has published several high quality papers in software engineering journals (TSE, TOSEM) and conferences (ICSME).
During Zhipeng's PhD he developed model to generate questions by a given code snippet, which is helpful for Stack Overflow users to ask technical questions on Stack Overflow. He also proposed a novel model to search the best answer in Stack Overflow for a given query post by the developer.
He's developed a new web based tool called 'Code2Que' that helps developers using Stack Overflow to write higher quality questions for a given code snippet. See his Code2Que work on our Tools page.
He has also developed a web service tool called 'SMARTEMBED' that can help Solidity developers to find repetitive contract code and clone-related bugs in smart contracts. See our Tools page for more information on SMARTEMBED.
