Human-in-the-loop Scheduling and Resource Management Approaches for the Edge-to-Cloud Continuum
This project aims to invent new methodologies and algorithms to put humans in the loop of resource management and scheduling techniques to deploy IoT applications on the edge/cloud computing resources.
The project is to design human-centric approaches to address multi-objective optimization required in resource management of IoT and edge applications and incorporate the preferences of the user in trade-offs such as cost, delay, energy, and performance, or so on. The project is specifically designed to give decision-making power to users, humans, for the outcome of the management and orchestration of Edge computing resources and IoT tasks to satisfy human and end-user requirements.
