Tacit Knowledge Transfer Among Captains Within Fisherfolk Community in Bangladesh
As part of the PROTIC II project we work closely with the fisherfolk community in Bangladesh. In a preliminary research study to understand their characteristics and needs for digital solution, we have identified a gap in tacit knowledge transfer among the captains of the boats. In this project we are co-creating a digital solution for the record keeping of the tacit knowledge, with the captains themselves. The digital solution will benefit captains among the fisherfolk community to systematically record the tacit knowledge they have and to share it with the apprentice captains.
