Understanding User’s Emotional Response to the Use of Parking Bays and Parking Apps
We explored how different human-centric aspects affect parking difficulties. The results showed that the overall perception of parking difficulties for car users significantly affects car users' emotions when finding parking spaces. We also found that multiple human-centric aspects, including different ages, gender, country, and parking preferences (favorite parking spaces and the acceptable time frame when finding parking spaces), significantly affect the parking search time of car users. We also suggest that developers need to consider the importance of human-centric aspects by getting users involved in the process of app development to explore different requirements for diverse users.
