Digital Health
We’re working with hospitals and medical professionals to leverage the power of data in hand hygiene, treatment monitoring, home birth analyses, cardiology, hospital visits and other healthcare contexts.
Transportation
We’re collaborating closely with the transportation sector – particularly in heavy-haul trains for the mining industry. Our work here includes building new sensors and cloud data management systems.
Currently, we’re analysing rail-track maintenance and prediction.
Environment
Together with the Faculty of Engineering, we’re advancing sensor projects that will benefit the environment and agricultural sector.
Our team has also worked with biology and ecology teams on initiatives around flora and fauna.
Utilities
Our work is helping utility companies in a range of functions, such as analysing metered data and predicting water leaks.
Manufacturing
We’re supporting the manufacturing industry through data management, equipment analytics, fault detections and performance analysis.
Urban Living
Creating ‘liveable’ cities has become a priority for various stakeholders, including local governments, built form developers, community transport operators and local businesses.
We’re working with urban planners to analyse indicators that might affect quality of life as cities grow.
