Filling the Void' builds upon a growing sense of concern among consumers with the origin and production of their groceries. The project aims to provide a new building typology which incorporates programs that help foster a culture of food education where consumers can simultaneously shop for, enjoy, and learn about their food.

To enable the sharing and exhibition of knowledge both inside and outside the building, 'Filling the Void' utlizes the architectural mechanism known as the 'void.'
