The system diagram comes from a case study building where balconies were added to a pre-existing buildings, extending the living spaces by creating more space. A ramp, as an addition, wraps around the building, adding multiple spaces at different points.

Extending Opportunities
The panel shows the extension of the columns and beams, and how they work to create different elements such as a table, operable wall or a screen. The idea derives from looking at a case study building where a balcony was added to a pre-existing building- to add more spaces.
