Dissociation - A mental or emotional disconnect from reality... We are constantly bombarded with excessive, often traumatic, scenarios we have little to no control over. In a world where information is in the palm of our hand, there comes a price. Being overloaded with news and stories of horrible acts of violence, political turmoil, power abuse, and the lack of action around things that affect everyone's future and safety can be too much for the brain to handle. This is can lead to the brain attempting to save itself by becoming disconnected from things and people.

The research kit was an initial probe into what potentially may be causing feelings of dissociation as well as how that presents itself, particularly in the younger generation who are the ones tasked with dealing with all these issues now and in the future.
