Monash Art, Design and Architecture Graduate Exhibition 2023

The project, which occupies 2600 m2 and comprises three adjacent residential buildings, is situated at 43–53 Aileen Avenue. This proposal anticipates densification's urban ramifications as it pursues infill construction in an expanding community. Whether it originates from ambiguous spaces, challenges the frictionless home, embraces room-to-room connections, or stems from incidental interactions among residents, what is being proposed here is an attempt to achieve conviviality within the scale of the dwelling and its larger urban environment.
