Tong Zhang

The title of my project is "Surveillance & Criticism" which aims to explore the pervasive inter-personal surveillance and criticism that exists in today's society, as well as to allow for deeper reflection in the exhibition. I am a student, but in my life I must admit that these endless surveillance and judgemental behaviours have a great impact on me. Most people don't focus on this most of the time in their lives, but I feel that I need to make people aware of the seriousness of this problem and how it affects them. Through my project, people can immerse themselves in this feeling and reflect on it, which is what I want people to learn.

Surveillance & Criticism Gallery

It is an interactive experience that allows for a deep experience of being watched and critiqued. People can deeply experience the theme of the project through the art installations set up in the venue, and participate in the design of the whole project to experience these emotions and to reflect on them at the end.
