Studying a double degree in Business marketing and Spatial design, my interest lies in both practical and creative aspects. With a deep passion for creating innovative and captivating spaces, my focus lies within the art of shaping spaces and creating immersive environments that blend form and function seamlessly.

Bamboo Forest

In 2100, the world will be impacted severely by pollution and toxic air. The very air we breathe is speculated to damage people’s health and well-being. My project envisions a future where creativity, nature, and sustainability intertwine to breathe life back into future communities. The Bamboo Forest aims to create a sustainable play space where natural elements can change continuously allowing children to imagine, create and discover their own type of play within the designed space.

Play Area 1

The construction of this unique play space involves a dynamic combination of growing and dead bamboos. The circular framework is built from living bamboos, which possesses the remarkable ability to continuously grow and extend in height. This distinctive feature ensures that the play space evolves over time, becoming taller and more captivating as the living bamboo thrives. The structure will create more height allowing children to experience more risk-like play.

Play Area 2

A unique play space has been designed to cater to the adventurous spirit of children, offering them two different ways to achieve and reach to varying heights. One option is to utilize a set of stairs, carefully constructed using dried bamboo, providing both durability and safety. This design ensures that not only children but also adults can access this play area comfortably, especially the top area which can overlook the whole play space.

Play Area 3

The foundation of this play space is built entirely from dried bamboo, this choice was made due to the need for specific curved shapes that are difficult to achieve with naturally growing bamboos. By using dried bamboo, this structure attains the desired form, ensuring its stability and safety for children to explore and play on.

The primary objective of this play space is to encourage children to invent their own games. It provides them with opportunities to climb, navigate through gaps, and even step onto the bamboo structure itself. This freedom to explore and experiment allows children to develop physical skills and engage their imagination in an open, dynamic environment.

Play Area 4

The entire play space is designed to be an immersive experience, crafted exclusively from growing bamboos. The living plant will be trategically planted in curved lines, forming a maze-like structure that will captivate children’s imaginations. The intentional curvature creates a labyrinth, where kids can wander, become temporarily “lost,” and embark on the exciting journey of finding their way out. It’s a playful and interactive setting that encourages exploration and problem-solving.

Play Area 5

This play space is another structure where the entire structure is built using growing bamboos, providing a unique and environmentally friendly environment for children to explore. The central feature of this space is the bamboo, which is not only part of the design but also a living element. The main objective of this bamboo-based play space is to empower children to take control of their play experiences
