A thoughtfully designed structure, inspired by diverse construction components and historical precedents, provides a meaningful space for inmates nearing the end of their sentences to learn and work. Blending new and traditional elements, the design reflects the quarry’s historic legacy while embracing emerging sustainable practices and technologies.
In the spirit of reconciliation Monash University acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
