Monash Art, Design and Architecture Graduate Exhibition 2024

Hey, I'm Dominique! I am a communication design and information technology graduate. My passion for combining my creativity in a technical space is an endeavor I am always eager to explore. My Activation project, 'Synthetic Faces', dives into the ongoing issue of identity ownership as the rise of artificial intelligence and deepfakes becomes rampant. Through this, I have been able to produce a variety of design outcomes: posters, publication, Augmented Reality, and a microsite. This project has taught me that being complacent with regards to cyber protection is detrimental and therefore education from credible sources is a must. Feel free to check my website and other works as well!

Synthetic Faces Publication

This A5 publication introduces deepfakes, and additionally how to detect, and protect against them. It also lists credible resources from governmental to scientific institutions for better understanding and education surrounding them.

Synthetic Faces Augmented Reality Spread

Utilising Augmented Reality technology, the publication was brought further to life. It helps uncover additional information and play into the narrative that such advancements in technology can influence our perception of what is real.
