My name is Gao Han, 20 years old. I am studying communication design in monash. This year is my last year of study.In my heart, I think doing design is an interesting and fun thing, of course, there will be many setbacks and difficulties. But I think the feeling of satisfaction when I make something is unique.
Activation
The presentation of the poster utilizes a collage technique, as I do the theme of managing your emotions. The collage mainly uses the character as the background, and occupies most of the poster area, and then adds other materials, which can be various characters, or jewelry, close-ups of hands, like forcing the brain, and tears or other things, etc. The collage is a great way to emphasize the character's features. Deborah Halpern's sculptures are often visually striking with exaggerated forms and abstracted figures, combined with bold colours, known for their splashes of colour. Reminiscent of characters and scenes from fairy tales, dreams and fantasy worlds. I looked for some mosaic style posters as a source of inspiration.
Identity: Melbourne Cinémathèque
I chose yellow as the background color yellow is a soft color that makes people look very calm, then secondly I used black and pink as the main colors black can be used as the color of the movie curtain or the darkness when the lights go out in the movie, and pink can be used to contrast with the black color I used different elements in the poster. The first element is the eyes, the second element is the arrow pointing the way to the movie theater and the third element is the 0 of 2025 with the image of a film projector in the middle.
