Hi, I’m Nicole, a communication designer and Fine Art graduate. I believe design is a transformative platform for engaging conversations and driving change. Specialising in advertising, publication, print, and digital marketing, I create thoughtful, engaging, and playful design solutions. My work includes 10 product ad campaigns focused on encouraging trial and purchase while building brand awareness. This experience has deepened my appreciation for intentional design and effective communication.

Aerogard advertising campaign

The project brief encouraged me to creatively explore effective advertising methods through design. I began by researching the product, its objectives, target audience, and the essential single-minded proposition for the poster.

I used playful descriptions that complemented my chosen images. I emphasized the product's use and its location. In Photoshop, I designed visuals that aligned with the text, making the product's usage more engaging and fun for the audience.

Cateye Volt 1700 Bike light advertising campaign

Choosing the right location for a poster is crucial for promoting both the product and the brand. This highlights the importance of conducting thorough background research to identify sites that will attract the most interactions with target customers, particularly in high-traffic areas.

The primary outcome of this ad campaign centered on the interplay of text and color within the poster. Incorporating a compelling Call to Action alongside the Strategic Marketing Plan (SMP) brought the ad together effectively.

Jeep Wrangler Sport S advertising campaign

This ad campaign aims to encourage trial and purchase while building brand awareness. The target audience is primarily men aged 35 to 45 who enjoy outdoor adventures. I plan to promote safety with the tagline “IN JEEP WE TRUST,” set against an off-road background featuring the Jeep. This approach fosters a sense of safety and trust between the brand and its customers.

Coffee Hero advertising campaign

An eye-catching advertising campaign highlights the cupping notes of the coffee, enhancing customers' understanding of what they’re purchasing and evoking their imagination about the flavor experience. By including a reassuring tagline like “Award-Winning Roast,” we build trust in both the product and the brand.

I made the key points the centerpiece of the poster, ensuring it feels approachable. The layout is strategically designed to capture the viewer's attention, creating a direct and engaging presentation that highlights the text effectively.

Durex advertising campaign: Keep Sex Cleaner, Cover Your Weiner.

This ad campaign focuses on raising awareness about safe sex and the importance of condom use. To create a welcoming atmosphere for the audience, I’m incorporating lighthearted and humorous slogans into the brand messaging. Recognizing the sensitivity of the topic, I designed a playful poster featuring fun illustrations to effectively engage with the product.

OxiClean advertising campaign

The objective of this ad campaign is to increase brand awareness for OxiClean and drive sales of its products. The poster highlights the product's effectiveness, specifically targeting women aged 35 to 45 with young children. By using engaging images and text, the ad demonstrates how the product works while reinforcing the brand’s mission. This fun and relatable approach resonates with all mothers and anyone who can relate to the challenges of tough stains, making the poster an effective advertising tool.
