Hi! I’m Q or Qaisara, a designer who loves what she does and wants to keep doing it. I’m originally from Sri Lanka and incorporating my culture and background into my design is something I hold great importance to hence these design projects are a reflection of my beliefs as a person. My interests in design lie in branding and Identity, but my experiences in various fields including optometry is a reflection of my curiosity to learn new things which also applies to other different fields of design.
Who am I? Campaign
WHO AM I? is an educational campaign that is designed to help educate young queer individuals on the importance of having a good relationship with their labels. Even if this means to not use labels.
Who am I? poster series
The campaign takes the form of an interactive website which asks a series of ‘yes’ and ‘no’ questions and then provides a response based on what answers the participant picks.This format is inspired by an ‘Am I gay quiz’ which are online platforms that gives unrealistic advice and answers, and the WHO AM I? website is a better rendition of that.

"The Good Old Days" is an exhibition identity design for Australian photographer Max Dupain. This identity focuses on his most iconic beach photography, capturing the essence of a time in Australia that cannot be returned to.

The design explores the concepts of space and time through a calendar-like layout of his images, juxtaposing the physical space of the photographs with the temporal quality conveyed by the arrangement.
Youth Climate Coalition Brand re-design.
The brand identity for YCC is carefully designed to attract a younger audience while still being cohesive and professional. It achieves this by using bright, bold colors that are fun and eye-catching, paired with typography that feels youthful and energetic. These choices help the brand stand out and appeal to a younger demographic who are drawn to lively and fresh visuals. At the same time, the identity remains well-organized and polished, making sure it appears professional and trustworthy..

The logo showcases a wordmark that captures the core essence of the brand. It features an abstract visualization of a fracture, symbolizing the organization's primary concern—fracking. The design conveys a sense of movement, reflecting the dynamic and critical work the organization undertakes. Moreover, the logo offers versatility, allowing it to be displayed in various combinations of the brand's colour palette.
