Monash Art, Design and Architecture Graduate Exhibition 2025

I'm a Master of Architecture student at Monash, currently in the Making City studio where I'm reimagining industrial buildings with mixed-use programs. My project explores how recycled textile waste can support education, sustainable fashion, and river health. I’ve also worked with Six Degrees Architects studio, helped coordinate a Melbourne Design Week exhibition, and designed the MADA Now 2025 booklet template. I’m confident with Adobe Creative Suite and Rhino, and always looking to connect design with impact.

Hero Image

This sectional perspective is the hero shot of my design. It shows a facility that reimagines textile waste through education, fabrication, and environmental research. On the left, a school aligned with the National Fashion College teaches alternative uses for textile waste. The central zone houses fabrication labs using advanced tech to create new garments. On the right, research labs engage with river systems to model water health solutions for countries facing pollution. Additional classrooms support hands-on industry learning.

Street View Perspective

This drawing shows the new building layered above the existing structure, with the original front brick wall retained. The design contrasts sharply with the old brick style, using a contemporary façade to highlight the site's transformation. Elements on the façade reference the nearby river, reinforcing its connection to the project.

Ground Plan Drawing

This ground floor plan illustrates the layout of my design. It highlights the front-facing school, machinery zones, loading area, and the project's direct connection to the river, informed by prior site research and environmental considerations.

Additional Plans

Upper Floor Plans
These plans show the upper levels of the facility, including classrooms for hands-on learning, research labs focused on river health, and circulation spaces that connect each program. The layout supports collaboration between education, fabrication, and environmental research.
Isometric Drawing
This isometric view reveals the overall building form and spatial relationships. It highlights the contrast between the retained brick façade and the new architectural language, with design elements that visually connect the building to the adjacent river.

Booklet Work

I designed the booklet template for our class exhibition at MADA Now 2025. It’s used to showcase each student’s work, providing a clear and cohesive format for presenting projects, drawings, and design narratives. The layout helps unify the exhibition while allowing individual ideas to stand out.

Booklet

This image shows the booklet I designed for our MADA Now 2025 class exhibition. Each spread presents work in a clean, consistent format, balancing visuals and text for clarity. The booklet unfolds to reveal the hero image on the back, creating a bold final impression and tying the narrative together through form and layout
