Water Retention Wetlands - Catalyst Proposal

Located on currently undeveloped land, at a key point for water movement, and surrounded by residential development, this proposed water retention wetland will not only serve as a significant WSUD intervention, but will provide vital habitat for native flora and fauna. Centring Indigenous ecological knowledge and land care practices, the wetlands will mitigate flood risk, improve biodiversity, and create a beautiful public space for recreation and connection to Country.

Water Retention Wetlands - Cross Section

This cross section shows a 3D perspective of the proposed wetlands. Showing specific details such as planting, floating treatment wetlands, boardwalks and wetland depth. The visualisation allows us to gain a deeper understanding of the proposal's real-world application and how it may feel to walk through the site.

East Botanic Ridge Masterplan

A proposed masterplan for the future of East Botanic Ridge. As a result of extensive site analysis, my group members and I have developed a number of actions intended to improve Botanic Ridge not only for the benefit of the local community but also native wildlife.
Actions are based around four key principles; Acclimatised Housing Development, Inclusive Mobility Network, Protect Ecological Wealth, and Inspire Environmental Stewardship. Overarching all principles is a dedication to upholding and honouring Indigenous knowledge and connection to Country.
