My interests lie within two within two separate areas; landscape architecture and set design. Within the former universal public design and co-design interest me and in the latter storytelling through spatial experience is what interests me whether that’s in film, theatre, or advertising. Overall, I’m particularly drawn to how designed spaces can shape experiences, communicate narratives, and invite interaction.
I have hands-on experience in furniture making, short film creation, and prop design, including collaborating with a writer to develop tangible objects that would shape a speculative sci-fi world.

INTERACTION render 1

‘Interaction’ is set in a future where social isolation has become widespread, prompting the
government to redefine the role of public parks. The redesign of Eastern Reserve in South
Melbourne encourages human connection by fostering passive forms of interaction that
gradually intensify across four distinct seating zones. As visitors move through these zones,
spatial cues (rooted within ‘prospect and refuge’ theory) encourage users to move to the
more intense seating zones. A central pathway also applies the principles of proxemics,
using physical closeness as a gentle and deliberate form of interaction, transforming the
park into a space that naturally rebuilds social connection.

CONNECTION

Connection: Adaptable Modular Housing project is a collaborative spatial design intervention set in the fictional world of 2050, a stage production by Jess Kapuscinski-Evans. Developed with Monash University faculty over 12 weeks, it reimagines the University of Melbourne Boathouse as a self-sustaining post-collapse community. Using universal design and modular hemp-fabric wall systems, the project fosters accessibility, flexibility, and spontaneous social interaction to reduce isolation. Its low-tech, easily repairable and expandable design reflects the fictional future’s return to inclusive, environmentally respectful living without modern infrastructure.

TUOLI

Tuoli is a furniture design project focused on the complete development of a chair from concept to finished product. Throughout the semester, I employed a range of technical and hands-on skills, including plywood moulding, CNC cutting, and extensive sawing, clamping, gluing, and sanding.

RAZED

RAZED is a short film that follows a masked character and their tense relationship with a looming, windowed black box. The film explores themes of identity and self-perception through a carefully considered combination of cinematography, editing, and prop design. The production was a small-scale collaboration involving one actor and one sound designer, with all other aspects (including storyboarding, direction, and production design) completed independently by me.
