Biotechnology, computation, robotics, AI, and nanotechnologies offer new ways of living. However, opportunities brought by fast-developing technologies are rapidly reforming our social, cultural and environmental fabrics. How would you embrace new technologies to create a better world, support equality, justice, and care for others? This studio focuses on the intersection between biotechnology and design, exploring relationships between living beings (human or non-human) and fast-advancing technologies to critique the implications of technologies on the environment, culture, economy and politics.
