As a third year student, my practice revolves around the developing world of artificial intelligence and the intersection of digital and traditional art. I intentionally use ai as a tool to manipulate and transform hand drawn elements in my works. My studio process begins with sketch’s usually based in portraiture which I then use the tools of ai to experiment with the images and develop videos which are usually uncomfortable in nature. Through this process, I aim to reflect on the creative link between artist and algorithm where technology aids practice rather than hinders it

Video work blending drawing and video editing through artificial intelligence representing ai attempts to process emotional data. The four videos combine eight moving portraits connecting hand drawn work with artificial intelligence. The portraits are all unique and display a unique response to a given prompt. These videos play on a loop with loud volume, the space becoming overwhelming and unsettling
