Over the previous year, it has been very exciting to see so many of our graduates take up positions in health services across all specialisations including in clinical nursing and maternity care areas, nursing and midwifery education, and nursing and midwifery leadership. I am proud to lead such committed and passionate teaching academics in the post registration degrees and to see our students and graduates as the next generation of nurses and midwives providing excellent healthcare to the community.
In 2023, 1,104 graduate students were enrolled in our Master of Advanced Nursing and Master of Advanced Clinical Nursing programs, up from 791 (40%) students in 2022, this growth has been in line with our increase in specialisation offerings and now we look to build and develop these specialisations with our expert academics to keep providing much needed educated knowledgeable leaders to ensure the quality of care provided to patients is of the highest quality.
