Data quality
Using high quality data has been a priority for researchers and scientific endeavour for centuries. High quality data has been described by the ARDC/ CODATA Research Vocabularies Australia as
"Data that are complete, timely, accurate, consistent, relevant, reliable, traceable, cleaned, validated, and well documented."
Determining what constitutes high quality data and how you achieve that in your research will differ by field of research, but there are some broad principles that can be applied.
