Monash AI Co-Lab

Monash AI Co-Lab

A research capability designed to accelerate applied AI research, translation and industry engagement across the University. It responds to the rapidly growing demand for scalable AI experimentation, simulation, and collaboration - capabilities that cannot be met by traditional, physical labs alone.

The AI Co-Lab combines dedicated physical collaboration spaces with shared virtual AI infrastructure, enabling researchers to work across campuses, faculties, and with external partners in a flexible, high-impact environment. The AI Co-Lab is flexible and outcome-focused supporting both individual researchers and large, cross-disciplinary programs.

AI Co-Lab Testing Phase

We are launching a hands-on testing phase to evaluate our new GB-10 units within real research environments. While we are launching this initial phase with an invited group of researchers, we welcome expressions of interest from researchers across all of Monash who are eager to test this capability.

By joining this test lab phase, you will get early access to the technology on the Clayton campus while working closely with the eResearch and eSolutions teams to directly influence the future of the AI Co-Lab.
