Craig Hassed
Craig is the Director of Education at the Monash Centre for Consciousness and Contemplative Studies (M3CS) and the Coordinator of Mindfulness programs across Monash University. With his interests in mindfulness, mind-body medicine, lifestyle medicine, integrative medicine and medical ethics, Craig has developed and integrated into the Monash medical curriculum, a world-first mindfulness-based healthy lifestyle course - Health Enhancement Program.
Jessica Weijers
Jessica is the dedicated Manager of the Monash Centre for Consciousness and Contemplative Studies (M3CS), where she combines her expertise in education with her profound journey as a mindfulness and yoga practitioner. With a passion for holistic well-being, she strives to nurture transformation through mindfulness practices.
Sherelle Connaughton
Sherelle is the education and elective coordinator of the Monash Centre for Consciousness and Contemplative Studies undergraduate and postgraduate units. Sherelle is a highly experienced mindfulness practitioner who possesses a deep passion for mindfulness and its transformative potential.
Jakob Hohwy
Jakob is the Director of M3CS, conducting interdisciplinary research in the areas of philosophy, psychology, and neuroscience. Jakob collaborates with neuroscientists and psychologists from Monash University and around the world. His Cognition & Philosophy Lab and M3CS study various topics including: science of consciousness; theoretical neurobiology; decision-making and rationality and psychiatry and neurology.
Kevin Berryman
Kevin Berryman's research examines the moral psychology of contemplative practices and selfless experiences. For more than two decades, he has been a Buddhist monk in the Theravāda forest lineage. With a keen focus on moral psychology, Kevin draws upon his vast experience as a Buddhist monk to brings ancient wisdom into the modern context, making it accessible and relevant to individuals from all walks of life.
Luke Smith
Dr Luke Smith is a clinical neuropsychologist who has a passion for mindfulness education and skills training. He is a tutor and mentor in mindfulness-based electives at Monash University, and facilitates mindfulness workshops for staff and students to help support their well-being and performance in study and at work. His workshops and programs can be tailored to meet your unique requirements and deliver them directly to your faculty or group within your division.
