Professor Rita Wilson

Prof. Wilson’s research interests are both interdisciplinary and intercultural, combining an interest in literary and translation theories with studies of contemporary Italian literature and culture. Her most recent publications focus on the relationship between translation, migration and the construction of cultural identities.
Professor Jo Angouri
Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies, Centre for Applied Linguistics, University of Warwick
Prof. Angouri is the Warwick Academic Co-Lead for the Network, together with Dr Burns. Prof. Angouri’s research sits at the interface of sociolinguistics, pragmatics and discourse analysis. She is interested in the analysis of interaction and the relationship between language, culture and identity. Much of Prof. Angouri’s work has focused on professional discourse and she has carried out research in a range of corporate, academic and health care settings.
