The Faculty of Arts has five current areas of research priority: Cultural responsiveness, A safer world for women and children, Humane Smart Futures, Indigenous Cultures and Histories and Engaging a modern Indonesia. These research priorities include researchers and projects from all Schools and Centres across the Faculty.
Our globally literate and culturally aware academics champion diversity, forging a strong sense of inclusion and social cohesion which encourages global perspectives.
Tackling vital global topics ranging from the gender dynamics of violent extremism to feminist political economies, we champion women’s empowerment through global collaborative research.
