ACRS (Australian Consumer and Retail Studies) is a research and insights consultancy operating out of the Monash Business School, specialising in retail and consumer behaviour research.
We work with clients across a range of retail and service-based industries, including multi-national corporations, government, and social enterprise, to deliver insights and strategic solutions which unlock growth opportunities and future-proof businesses.
Setting us apart are our diverse backgrounds; from research and consulting, advanced analytics, marketing and sociology, to design thinking, we're a multi-disciplinary team which enables us to deliver evidence-based insights in an engaging and digestible way. Operating out of the Monash Business School means we also have access to the latest research from leading academics around the world.

In addition to our core team of experts, we have access to the dedicated and talented staff of the Monash Business School's Department of Marketing for projects that may require highly-advanced research methodologies.

Senior Research Consultant
Eloise specialises in retail and consumer behaviour research, with a particular focus on shopper trends, market performance, and customer satisfaction and experience. At ACRS, Eloise is the program lead of the SAT Suite program which provides valuable insight to major Australian retail property landlords on their relationships with retailers and shoppers. Eloise brings academic rigour to her work with clients, guiding retail leaders to make critical, evidence-based business decisions in the context of a rapidly evolving retail landscape. She has a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology from Monash University.
Paolo has applied his diverse research skills and breadth of marketing knowledge in delivering thought leadership, customer experience, and quarterly tracking projects for a wide range of industries including retail, automotive and property management. He is committed to working closely with organisations to produce tailored, actionable insights that inform organisational decisions. Paolo has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) at Monash University.
