Dr Manu Kirberg awarded the 2023 Mollie Holman Award and Faculty of Arts Prize for Outstanding PhD Thesis

Congratulations to our M3CS, Philosophy PhD graduate Dr Manu Kirberg who has been awarded the 2023 Mollie Holman Award for her thesis titled “Comparing spontaneous thoughts across the sleep-wake-cycle”.

The Mollie Holman Award, one of  Monash University’s most prestigious academic honours, is granted to a select group of up to 10 doctoral students each year, recognising their excellence in research.

Dr. Kirberg has also received the Faculty of Arts Prize for Outstanding PhD Thesis. This $5,000 prize is funded by the late Emeritus Professor John Rickard, a dedicated benefactor, former faculty member of Monash’s Historical Studies unit, and generous long-term supporter of Monash University.
