Civil Engineering

The Department of Civil Engineering technical services group has a broad range of technical capabilities that are applied to support civil engineering projects, students and research.

The technical staff support a number of advanced experimental laboratories including: materials and component testing; a large scale testing; the strong floor, high temperature facilities; and the concrete laboratory. In addition, the staff provide design, manufacturing / fabrication, field testing, electronic and data acquisition support to projects falling within the general scope of the civil engineering discipline.
