Alliance for Digital Health at Monash (ADAM)
ADAM is the formal network of people and organisations driving Digital Health research and innovation at Monash – on a local and global stage. It aims to elevate, support and celebrate Digital Health work across the university and our partners, unify disciplines, industries and industry sectors and provide greater access to exclusive infrastructure, promotional channels, insights, events, education and other opportunities.
Australian Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare
The Australian Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare brings together more than 90 national and international partners and engaged stakeholders in academia, government, consumer, clinical, industry organisations, and peak bodies to translate frontier artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into real-world health services.
Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre (DH CRC)
Funded by the Australian Government, the DH CRC is a multidisciplinary taskforce of research, clinical, industry, government and educational organisations. Its work focuses on combining individual and collective expertise with data, information and telecommunication technologies.
Human-in-the-Loop Analytics (HiLA) GRIP
The HiLA GRIP is an interdisciplinary collaboration between world-class experts and Monash PhD students. It drives research spanning AI, social informatics, psychology, human-computer interaction and data visualisations, and helps industry partners advance their business objectives.
Monash Blockchain Technology Centre
The Monash Blockchain Technology Centre gathers world-leading expertise across Monash to explore and develop the technology of blockchain – and create impact across different industries.
Monash Data Futures Institute
The Monash Data Futures Institute works across disciplines and sectors to harness the benefits of AI and data science. The Institute is creating transformative, lasting change in three key areas: better governance and policy, health sciences and sustainable development.
Monash Institute of Medical Engineering (MIME)
MIME fosters and coordinates translational medtech research across Monash University faculties, partner hospitals and collaborating medical research institutions. Its clinician-led research programs focus on major clinical and health system needs, and integrate expertise from across engineering, IT, science, biomedical and clinical research to develop new devices, diagnostics, therapeutics, delivery systems and clinical tools.
NEED - Equity through Digital Health
Aligned with Monash University’s vision for global impact, NEED will enhance access to high-quality healthcare and wellbeing in underserved communities through critical digital health research. It will also fortify the relationship between Monash University across Australia and Malaysia.
The Digital and Data-Driven Innovation in Healthcare GRIP
This initiative is a partnership between Monash University and members of Monash Partners Academic Health Science Centre. It supports up to 15 PhD students as they address healthcare challenges through digital, data-driven innovations – and build their skills for a future in this field.
Victorian Heart Institute (VHI)
The VHI aims to deliver research excellence that drives measurable change in the rates of heart disease in Australia and beyond. It explores novel approaches to solving cardiovascular problems by collaborating with a world-class research and innovation community outside health and medicine.
