Ethical Decision Making of Developers in AI
Ethical decision making in AI is an ongoing public discussion. Lately some unethical outcomes of machines have stirred public attention, e.g. discrimination in facial recognition, in selecting suitable candidates during hiring processes or in responses by ChatGPT. The discussion mainly focuses on how machines make decisions. This project looks at how the creators of AI, the developers, make decisions.
We look at different decision making scenarios, decision making processes and ethics of developers.
