Australia-Taiwan Sustainable Finance Cooperation

Technology is reshaping how sustainability and consumer protection intersect within the financial system. As digital tools accelerate innovation and access, regulators and institutions face new challenges in ensuring that sustainable finance remains transparent, inclusive, and resilient.
To explore these frontiers, the roundtable will convene senior regulators, academics, and industry leaders for a closed-door policy dialogue at the intersection of sustainability, technology, and financial consumer protection.
About the Event
This event forms part of a two-year research and engagement initiative led by Monash University in partnership with the Taiwan Sustainable Finance and Impact Investing Academy, entitled the Australia–Taiwan Collaboration in Addressing Legal and Regulatory Challenges in Sustainable Finance (ATLAS Finance) project. The project is funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade through the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations.
This Brisbane roundtable marks the third event in the series, continuing the dialogue and exchange between Australia and Taiwan on advancing a constructive partnership in sustainable finance.
