As sustainable finance enters a new era shaped by artificial intelligence, complex supply chains and accelerating energy transition, trust has emerged as its defining challenge.

This half-day workshop explores "trust governance" as a unifying challenge across AI, supply chains, and transition finance by adopting a comparative Australia-Taiwan lens to explore how trust can be strengthened across these interconnected domains, and how cross-jurisdictional collaboration can support a more resilient and sustainable financial ecosystem.

About the Event

This event forms part of a two-year research and engagement initiative led by Monash University in partnership with the Taiwan Sustainable Finance and Impact Investing Academy (SFIIA), entitled the "Australia–Taiwan Collaboration in Addressing Legal and Regulatory Challenges in Sustainable Finance" (ATLAS Finance) project. The project is proud to be supported by the Australian Office in Taipei on this important project that supports a stable and constructive partnership between the two jurisdictions in advancing sustainable finance and a net-zero economy.

This workshop marks the fifth event in the series, continuing the dialogue and exchange between Australia and Taiwan. Held in collaboration with National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) and the Australia–Taiwan Business Council, the workshop will take place in Hsinchu, a major hub for Taiwan's technology and semiconductor industries, at NTHU's College of Technology Management (CTM) Building.
