Climate Change: Concern, Behaviour and the Six Australias

Cover of Climate Change: Concern, Behaviour and the Six Australias ReportThis report documents the findings of a survey of 3098 Australians. It examines their levels of concern and action on climate change. As well as providing an update on the relative distribution of the six Australias audience segments.

Overall, Australians are much more alarmed about climate change than in 2011 and 2016, although this hasn't necessarily translated into action.

By reviewing Australian's stages of behaviour change across a diverse range of purchasing, energy and waste management behaviours, this report highlights trends in adoption as well as intentions and resistance to change. It also examines how these differ across age groups, for men and women, and across the six Australias audience segments.
