In today’s digital world, visuals are essential for engaging audiences and conveying the urgency of climate change. This workshop explores the power of imagery and data visualisation in climate communication, guiding participants in creating compelling visuals that amplify their message. From selecting impactful images to designing clear, engaging presentations, this session equips participants with practical skills to make content both captivating and accessible.

- Creating data visuals that convey complex info simply and clearly
- Designing presentations that are engaging and easy to follow
- Using design tools like hierarchy and colour to boost clarity
- Tailoring visuals to capture and hold audience attention
Australia requires leaders armed with the skills to communicate climate challenges and solutions to diverse audiences. In this workshop, participants will develop strategies to recognise, respond to, and reduce the spread of misinformation and disinformation about climate and energy.

- Understanding the expanding landscape of misinformation
- Learning why traditional fact-checking methods are falling short
- Applying evidence-based frameworks to counter misinformation
- Exploring tools and frameworks for communicating in contested spaces
As Australia transitions to net zero, community trust and social licence are critical to success. In this workshop, participants will explore the role of social licence in the energy transition and examine strategies for building trust, legitimacy, and community buy-in, supported by real-world case studies.
What we’ll cover:
- Understanding what social licence is and why it matters
- Exploring public attitudes towards renewables and net zero
- Identifying strategies for building trust with communities
- Learning from case studies of effective engagement
We have a proven record of delivering training at COP27 (2022), the AMOS Conference (2024), the Public Sector Climate Risk and Disclosure Summit (2025), the Victorian Greenhouse Alliances Conference (2025), and with organisations such as Zoos Victoria (2025), and Casey City Council (2025).
