Organisational survey

We've created a short, 10-minute survey for organisations that support veterans and their families – including ex-service, family violence and community services. The survey aims to understand what data these organisations may hold about family and domestic violence involving current or former military personnel and their families.

Taking part in the survey does not involve sharing any data.

The survey is designed to help the project team understand what types of data exist and how they might be used in future to improve how we track and respond to family and domestic violence.

Before starting the survey, we ask that the person completing it reads the Explanatory Statement, which is linked at the beginning of the survey.

Please feel free to share this survey with your networks, especially with other organisations that support current and former ADF members and their families.

Focus groups and individual interviews

The project is currently conducting in-depth focus groups and 1:1 interviews with service providers, service leaders, and senior stakeholders. Individual interviews are also being held with former military personnel who have used family and domestic violence, as well as with victim-survivors (family members of ex-personnel who have experienced this violence).
