About us
The PHOPHECY consortium
The PROPHECY consortium consists of multidisciplinary experts who are committed to understanding effective immune responses across the lifespan in a diverse group of vulnerable populations. The team is comprised of both clinicians and scientists from Monash University, Monash Health, Alfred Health, Burnet Institute and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute spanning immunology, infectious diseases, respiratory medicine, nephrology, solid organ transplantation, rheumatology, haematology, paediatrics, public health and epidemiology.
The consortium includes consumer health partners - Spleen Australia, AusPIPS, the National Association of people with HIV Australia (NAPWHA), Musculoskeletal (MSK) Australia, Crohn’s and Colitis Australia and Safer Care Victoria.
The consortium is funded by The Australian Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF): 2021 COVID-19 Treatment Access and Public Health Activities Grant Opportunity.
