Are you a woman residing in New South Wales who has formerly served with the Australian Defence Force? If so, we want to hear from you!

What will participation involve?

  • Complete a 20-minute online survey (approx. 20 minutes) designed to identify the wellbeing needs among women veterans who have accessed veteran-specific services in NSW in the last 24 months.
  • Attend a one-on-one online interview (approx. 30 to 45 minutes) designed to gain a deeper understanding of women veterans' experiences with veteran identity and engagement with services.
  • Participation can be for both survey and interview, but you are not obligated to participate in both components.

The aim of the survey is to better understand how veteran-specific services may be tailored to the wellbeing needs and identities of women veterans in NSW.

You’re eligible if:

  • You are a woman, and
  • You have formally served in the Australian Defence Force, and
  • You have accessed any veteran-specific services in the last 24 months, and
  • Your main residence is in NSW

Survey participants will be invited to participate in an online follow up one-on-one interview to expand on their experiences of accessing veteran-specific services. More information will be provided at the end of the survey.

If you would like to participate in an online interview only, please contact the project email at veteran-projects@monash.edu.
