Ms Julia L Page was chief executive officer of veski from 2004-2024 after a career spanning the public, private and philanthropic sectors in Australia and the UK. Julia joined the veski board in March 2017.Julia leads a team responsible for the continued development and delivery of veski's programs, including a prestigious fellowships program, an inspiring women program and a range of skills, training & education activities. She demonstrates her unique ability to engage people at all levels and build partnerships that complement and extend veski's programs and activities locally and globally.

She has overseen the growth and expansion of the prestigious innovation, inspiring women and the sustainable agriculture fellowship programs and has been responsible for awarding 38 fellowships.

Julia is passionate about delivering D&I programs and has developed programs for ECRs to gain insights on transitioning from academia to industry; the STEM side-by-side program focussing on professional development to empower mid-career emerging leaders; and the career recovery grants, for senior female leaders -providing short-term flexible funding to boost research & help restore pre-pandemic competitiveness.

Julia maintains a strong working relationship across many levels of Government -more recently being asked to deliver $2.8m in major international research projects through the Study Melbourne Research Partnerships program. Julia sits on the Australian British Chamber of Commerce, St Vincent's Hospital Foundation, Inspiring Australia – Vic, and the Victorian Wakeful Club Inc boards. Julia is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She obtained her BSc (Hons) degree from the University of Essex, UK, in Information Business Systems Technology and a postgraduate certification from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government in Emerging Leaders Executive Education.
