Christine Tolotchkov

Research Scientist
Christine Tolotchkov is a research scientist, specialising in analytical testing and formulation development. Her skills lie in HPLC and LCMS method development and validation, as well as solubility, dissolution and stability testing. Christine also has a strong background in gel-based oral formulations, where she has successfully developed numerous formulations for pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals.
Beyond the bench, Christine coordinates the MMIC Internship Program, overseeing 10+ interns annually. She also designs promotional material for MMIC, including banners, brochures and booklets, highlighting the companies’ capabilities at events to prospective clients.
Christine holds a Bachelor and Honours in Pharmaceutical Science, where her research project focused on taste-masking of an antibiotic for paediatric treatment.
With a fascination for science growing up, it was not until the final year of her degree that she had a ‘light bulb moment.’, that formulation science was her passion. “I enjoy the critical thinking and problem solving that goes into creating a formulation; using creativity to solve problems in everyday lab life is very satisfying for me,”.
