The One Water platform delivers cutting-edge capabilities in water sample capture, molecular diagnostics, and genomic analysis—designed to support public health, environmental monitoring and regulatory compliance through our suit of IS09001 certified procedures.

Sample Capture

We offer continuous, event-based, and single-point sampling from drinking water, recreational sources, wastewater, and stormwater using passive, grab and large volume methods
Microbial & Genomic Analysis

Our platform offers a range of genomic and molecular surveillance options for notifiable waterborne pathogens from whole genome sequencing, amplicon based faecal source tracking (metaMST) and targeted quantitative PCR.
Certified Laboratory Systems & Automation

In collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific, we’re integrating automation and developing novel tools for scalable waterborne pathogen surveillance including automated DNA extraction.
Microbial Culture

Our team specializes in culturing a wide range of notifiable organisms and jurisdictional reference microbes, including 𝘌. 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘪 and 𝘌𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘰𝘤𝘤𝘪 (IDEXX), 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘺𝘭𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢, 𝘎𝘪𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘢 and 𝘊𝘳𝘺𝘱𝘵𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘶𝘮.
Environmental Biobank

The One Water Biobank is the first biorepository for water and water-associated materials in Australia. Offering stored bacterial isolates, raw samples and water-derived genetic materials to the wider research community alongside user and data share agreements.
