The Foray into HiFi project call invites Monash researchers to apply for discounted access to PacBio HiFi long-read sequencing through MGBP. HiFi sequencing produces highly accurate long reads that enable improved genome assembly, detection of structural variation, resolution of complex genomic regions and enhanced metagenomic analysis.

This program aims to support projects where long-read sequencing can provide insights beyond what is possible with short-read technologies. Selected projects will receive discounted sequencing and technical support from MGBP to help researchers explore and implement HiFi sequencing in their studies.
