MGBP is excited to announce the arrival of the PacBio Vega — Victoria's first installation of this powerful next-generation long-read sequencing instrument.

The Vega represents the latest evolution of PacBio’s HiFi sequencing technology, delivering unparalleled read accuracy and throughput for whole-genome, transcriptome and epigenomic applications. The system enables researchers to explore complex regions of the genome, structural variants, and isoform diversity with unprecedented clarity.

Installation and testing are now underway at MGBP, with sequencing services expected to commence shortly. The Vega joins our growing suite of cutting-edge platforms, including the 10x Genomics Xenium Analyzer and Visium CytAssist, further expanding our capabilities for comprehensive multi-omic analysis.
