Membership is free for Monash teams and Velos tenants. External startups and small and medium enterprises can join with a simple annual fee. No leases, fit-outs, no IT headaches, just access to what you need.

As a member, you’ll get:

  • Opportunity to attend networking sessions
  • Invitations to join education programs (free and fee applicable) including bootcamps, microcredentals and accredited courses
  • Access to Velos seed funding (competitive and milestone-based)
  • Mentorship from our in-residence entrepreneurs and implementation scientists
  • Access to bookable meeting rooms and event spaces
  • Invitations to pitch to expert panels (two ideas per year)
  • Tailored matchmaking with Monash researchers for co-development or contract work
  • Clinical trial access through the Victorian Heart Institute (VHI) and Monash University Clinical Trials Centre (MUCTC).

Velos offers private offices, co-working desks and limited lab spaces tailored to early-stage health ventures. Everything is ready to go so you can focus on building, not setup.

As a resident, you’ll have:

  • Office and PC2-certified lab space in the heart of the health precinct
  • Access to a community of entrepreneurs
  • Access to Monash Research platforms (costs apply)
  • Access to meeting rooms
  • Access to building services – concierge style services, waste management, post, printing, internet
  • Access to Monash talent (PhD programs available)
  • Access to seed grants through a competitive process, if successful further funding is subjected to an equity-based support model
  • Access to seminars and contracted research services
