N2 Opportunity Assessment on LV Network Visibility and Hosting Capacity, RACE for 2030 CRC (PAST)

The aim of this project is to gather and combine the current state of knowledge and practice in improving the ability of electricity network operators to measure and observe the low voltage network to which PV and other DER connect. This project seeks to raise awareness of the gaps in knowledge about the actual limits of low-voltage networks and provide evidence to network businesses, policymakers and others about paths forward to cost-effectively improve network visibility and increase utilisation of networks’ capacity to host DERs.
