Cognitive Assessment

This service provides a comprehensive evaluation of an individual’s cognitive abilities, offering insight into their profile of strengths and weaknesses. It does not include assessment of literacy or academic skills.

What’s included:

  • One parent interview
  • One child assessment – focused on cognitive functioning.
  • Parent feedback – outlining cognitive strengths and areas for development.

Who is this for?

This assessment is best suited for individuals who:

  • Would like a deeper understanding of their cognitive profile, or
  • Have already completed an early literacy assessment and are seeking further evaluation.

Please note:

A diagnosis of a specific learning difficulty cannot be made unless an early literacy assessment or recent academic assessment has also been completed.

Cost

  • $400 for the assessment package
  • $300 for the assessment package (for health care holders)
