Comprehensive Psychoeducational Assessment

This service supports children experiencing challenges across multiple areas of development, including learning, behaviour, emotional regulation, communication, and attention. It provides a detailed understanding of the factors influencing a child’s functioning at school—such as social, emotional, attentional, and executive functioning.

What’s included:

  • Parent interview – to gather background information and understand concerns.
  • Three to four assessment sessions – tailored to the child’s needs. These may include assessments of:
    • Cognitive ability
    • Academic achievement
    • Attention and executive functioning
    • Adaptive functioning
    • Social, emotional, and behavioural functioning
  • Parent feedback session – to discuss findings and recommendations.
  • Child feedback session – if appropriate, to share insights in a supportive and age-appropriate way.
  • Comprehensive written report – summarising assessment results, interpretations, and recommendations.

Who is this for?

This assessment is ideal for families seeking a thorough evaluation that goes beyond academic learning. It is especially suited for children with co-occurring conditions or concerns across multiple areas of development.

The assessment may include screening for autism and ADHD; however, it does not provide a formal diagnosis of either condition.

Cost

  • $850 for the assessment package
  • $700 for the assessment package (for health care holders)
