Early Literacy Screening Package

This package helps identify whether a child may be at risk of dyslexia.

What’s included:

  • One parent interview - to gather background information and understand concerns.
  • One assessment session with your child focused on foundational literacy skills, including knowledge of letter / sound relationships and phonological awareness.
  • One parent feedback session to discuss findings and recommendations.
  • A brief written summary report including results and next steps.

Who is this for?

For children in Prep and Grade 1 who are showing early signs of difficulty with literacy. This is not a diagnostic assessment, but it can help identify whether your child may be at risk of dyslexia. Identifying risk in the early years and providing targeted intervention at this stage can significantly improve reading outcomes and reduce the likelihood of a later diagnosis of dyslexia. You will be provided with a brief summary report and clear advice on next steps.

Cost

  • $200 for the assessment package
  • $150 for the assessment package (for health care holders)
