ACJI welcomes new PhD Scholar Nick Boag
ACJI is excited to welcome our new PhD Scholar, Nick Boag, who was recently awarded a PhD Scholarship.

Nick has been awarded a PhD Scholarship by the Centre of Research Excellence (CRE) in Better Health Outcomes After Compensable Injury, together with a top-up scholarship supported by the Faculty of Law at Monash. Nick recently had the opportunity to meet the CRE team (including the network of PhD scholars and early career researchers) at the annual meeting and research symposium at the University of Sydney.
Nick’s research will investigate legal costs reform in personal injury claims with a particular focus on claimant experiences and outcomes. He will be supervised by CRE investigators A/Prof Genevieve Grant (Monash Law) and Prof Ian Cameron (John Walsh Centre for Rehabilitation Research, The University of Sydney). Nick’s research will draw on his extensive practising experience in personal injury law in Victoria. He is also teaching Litigation and Dispute Resolution in the Faculty of Law.
Welcome, Nick!
